Fedora 11 on MacBook Pro version 3.1

Hello again,

I tried to install Fedora 11 only on MacBook Pro with no success. But I managed to install dual boot (Leopard + Fedora 11).

Step 1:

Install Leopard on small partition like 15Gb. I installed Leopard without additional languages and printer drivers. After finished the install of Leopard, I installed rEFIt and rebooted the Mac.

Step 2:

Installation of Fedora 11.

a) Partitioning;

200 Mb for boot partition,

2.2Gb for swap partition,

and the rest for LVM (21Gb root partition. , rest for home p.) all Ext4.

b) Installation and configuration;

Step 3:

rEFIT boot editor configuration:

syncing  GPT and MBR by selecting the /boot partition (in my case /dev/sda3) for booting with rEFIt.

Step 4:

Booting Fedora ~ now works like a charm.
