But I managed to install dual boot (Leopard + Fedora 11).<\/p>\n<p>Step 1:<\/p>\n<p>Install Leopard on small partition like 15Gb. I installed Leopard without additional languages and printer drivers. After finished the install of Leopard, I installed rEFIt and rebooted the Mac.<\/p>\n<p>Step 2:<\/p>\n<p>Installation of Fedora 11.<\/p>\n<p>a) Partitioning;<\/p>\n<p>200 Mb for boot partition,<\/p>\n<p>2.2Gb for swap partition,<\/p>\n<p>and the rest <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Logical Volume Manager (Linux)\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Logical_Volume_Manager_%28Linux%29\">for LVM<\/a> (21Gb root partition. , rest for home p.) all <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Ext4\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ext4\">Ext4<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>b) Installation and configuration;<\/p>\n<p>Step 3:<\/p>\n<p>rEFIT boot editor configuration:<\/p>\n<p>syncing\u00a0 GPT and <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Master boot record\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Master_boot_record\">MBR<\/a> by selecting the \/boot partition (in my case \/dev\/sda3) for booting with rEFIt.<\/p>\n<p>Step 4:<\/p>\n<p>Booting Fedora ~ now works like a charm.<\/p>\n<div class=\"zemanta-pixie\" style=\"margin-top: 10px; height: 15px;\"><a class=\"zemanta-pixie-a\" title=\"Reblog this post [with Zemanta]\" href=\"http:\/\/reblog.zemanta.com\/zemified\/ca092901-a83c-420a-ae99-8beca46c9178\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"zemanta-pixie-img\" style=\"border: medium none; float: right;\" src=\"http:\/\/img.zemanta.com\/reblog_e.png?x-id=ca092901-a83c-420a-ae99-8beca46c9178\" alt=\"Reblog this post [with Zemanta]\" \/><\/a><span class=\"zem-script more-related pretty-attribution\"><script src=\"http:\/\/static.zemanta.com\/readside\/loader.js\" type=\"text\/javascript\"><\/script><\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello again, I tried to install Fedora 11 only on MacBook Pro with no success.
